Bankfields is seeking a talented and motivated Social Media Manager/Content Creator to join its team in Lekki, Lagos. The ideal candidate should be passionate about social media, content creation and brand storytelling. He or she must also be up to date with the latest digital trends and comfortable creating both text and video content.
About the Role
As a Social Media Manager/Content Creator at Bankfields, you will be responsible for shaping the brand’s image across social platforms, crafting content strategies and maintaining an engaging content calendar. You will also collaborate actively with the design team and play a key role in achieving the brand’s marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy & Creation: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Bankfields’ business objectives.
- Content Production: Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily, including original text, photos, videos and news.
- Brand Consistency: Work closely with marketing, sales and customer service to ensure cohesive brand representation.
- Community Engagement: Monitor interactions, respond to follower queries and manage customer reviews for a positive online presence.
- SEO & Traffic Monitoring: Keep an eye on web traffic metrics and optimize content for SEO.
- Collaborate with Design: Oversee and ensure that all social media accounts have an appealing design, including profile images, timeline covers and layouts.
- Innovation: Propose new features like promotions and competitions to drive engagement and grow brand awareness.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay current on digital technologies, social media trends and design applications.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role must possess the following qualifications.
- Strong understanding of Social Media Marketing and Optimization (SMO).
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with graphic design and an ability to collaborate with designers.
- Proven experience in content strategy development and social media brand management.
- Creative and able to think outside the box.
- Proficiency in analysing social media metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
